Model United Nations at Pace University’s New York City Campus is offered as a class every semester. However, if you have already taken the classes for credit, or have not yet completed the POL114 prerequisite, but still want to participate in conferences you are still welcome to join the program. Joining Model UN as a club means you do not have to take the class quizzes or turn in a reflection paper, but will still be expected to work on a joint position paper and participate actively in the class sessions and conference. It is advisible to have been a part of a Model UN, Model Congress, debate or similar program before joining Model UN as a club, to provide you with the background needed to do well.
